I live with my husband David on our family’s dairy farm. We have 2 adult children and many furbabies.

I have a passion for occupational medicine, health and safety. I enjoy integrating my expertise in occupational health and safety in the management of complex occupational medicine issues. As a career entrepreneur, I am passionate about working directly with clients on the design and implementation of multi faceted business operations dealing with multi-level workforce management.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors– being in nature, hiking and camping. I also love traveling and seeing the world.

Anna Williams

Practice Manager

Anna has an extensive background in Family Practice and Cardiac & Cardiology Services. She joined the Sapphire Family Practice and Valley Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in January 2022.

She is passionate about getting to know our patients and their families, building a trusting relationship and seeing them through their healthcare needs.

Anna is originally from Pennsylvania, her family moved to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in the fall of 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have two active outgoing children that all share a love of sports- soccer, basketball and volleyball. Anna also enjoys being creative in the kitchen with her husband, gardening. Our family also has two busy furbabies, a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever.

Sheila Higdon, FNP-C

Graduated from Shenandoah University with her Master of Science in Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner, from EMU with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006, and from Columbia State Community College with her Associate’s degree as a registered nurse in 2001. She has many years of experience in family practice from newborn to geriatrics and enjoys helping patients meet their healthcare goals and educating them on their disease processes.
